Good news for the citizens of China and India!

Since January 2020 the 72-hour Visa-free regime has been introduced for transit tourists from China and India traveling transit via international airports of Nur-Sultan and Almaty. Besides airports of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, this regime will work at the airports of Shymkent, Aktau, Karagandy and Taraz as well. The 72-hour transit visa-free regime is applicable to both individual passengers and tour groups.

At the border control, passports of transit citizens will be stamped with the time of crossing the state border of Kazakhstan.

We remind you that citizens of 73 countries, including Austria, Azerbaijan, Russia and others, have the right to entry visa-free to Kazakhstan from 14 to 90 days.
